Disability Awareness

It is very important to identify any special needs within a group and to cater for all group members accordingly.

This might include customers with disabilities such as wheelchair users and customers with hearing or visually impairments.

The Disability Discrimination Act requires us to make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to accommodate disabled customers.  However, what is ‘reasonable’ has been open to a lot of debate and interpretation.

Our one day workshop prvides an excellent insight into an area where some people can feel uncomfortable and gives you more confidence when working with disabled people.
